About The Event
Wonderful things happen when people come together. Monday 6 May is the 70th anniversary of Roger Bannister breaking the four-minute mile (6 May 1954) and May is also Mental Health Awareness month and so we’re supporting Mind in memory of Ed Dean. Help us celebrate community, sporting achievement and the wider impact this creates by walking or running 1000 miles. Each participant can choose the below distances (within the allocated 3 hours):
- 3 miles
- 6 miles
- 10 miles
- 13 miles
Please RSVP on this page by paying the £5 booking fee. We will then follow up with a link to make a minimum £25 donation via a Just Giving page. If you're unable to make it and would like to support, it will be possible to donate the above 'miles' in pounds to make up more miles in advance or on the day.

Key Information
- Runners will receive a Onetrack1000 medal and refreshments from Vitamin Well.
- ASICS will be on hand with a chill zone and product to try on and chances to win goodies.
- A live DJ will be providing the soundtrack to your run.
- Bring your own picnic or take advantage of the pizza from Vardo.
- A bag drop will be available on the day.
